Watling Street Surgery employs 3 Physician Associates.
Our Physician Associates form a key part of our diagnostic team. Physician Associates can manage undifferentiated, undiagnosed cases, by history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making, to establish a working diagnosis and management plan for the patient. Physician Associates do not currently have prescribing rights, however they can prepare prescriptions for GP’s to authorise. All our Physician Associates are professionally registered with the Faculty of Physician Associates. All our Physician Associates have access to a named GP supervisor.
